Utilizing matching funds provided by the Build Kansas Fund, the Kansas Infrastructure Hub announced that the Manhattan Regional Airport has completed its hangar development and upgrades project – the first to be done with support of the Build Kansas Fund.

The Kansas Infrastructure Hub and Build Kansas Fund provided $282,000 in matching funds. Combined with the federal grant award of $2,538,000, the total investment for this project amounts to $2,820,000.

“This is the first Build Kansas Fund supported project to be completed in the state and represents a major milestone for the Kansas Infrastructure Hub and for our tremendous partnership with the City of Manhattan,” said Matthew Volz, P.E., Executive Director of the Kansas Infrastructure Hub.
