Message from the Interim Director

We’ve been busy this summer! In the past three months, the Kansas Infrastructure Hub has approved 63 applications for Build Kansas Fund (BKF) match support. These Airport Infrastructure Grants, Safe Streets and Roads for All, and 40101d Grid Resilience applications are now awaiting federal award decisions. Meanwhile, for every dollar invested through the BKF, approximately $2.21 in federal funding has been unlocked—representing a 221% return on investment. This means the $34.24 million in BKF commitments successfully unlocked $75.53 million in federal resources, significantly amplifying the impact of state investments.
