Message from the Director
The month of November provided an excellent opportunity to visit a variety of communities across the state of Kansas. It’s a pleasure learning from you and better understanding the different obstacles and opportunities you are continually presented with. I’m often struck at the ingenuity of public servants; most of whom embody a quiet cleverness that often goes unseen yet shapes the very foundation of our communities. They navigate complex challenges with limited resources, creating innovative solutions that keep essential systems running smoothly. Creativity emerges not from a desire for recognition, but from a deep commitment to improving lives and strengthening the public good. In countless ways, you demonstrate that true innovation is not always flashy; sometimes it's the patient, persistent problem-solving that allows society to function, adapt, and flourish. We see and recognize your efforts!
As part of our ongoing efforts, we are pleased to provide two highly practical resources: the Technical Assistance Guide and the Finance Resource Guide (below.) Together, these documents offer clear, sector-specific information on funding opportunities. Designed as a comprehensive, easy-to-use reference, these guides serves as a one-stop shop for identifying grant opportunities across broadband, cybersecurity, energy, resilience, transportation, water, and community planning and development—helping you quickly find the support you need to advance your projects.
As we near the end of the month, and in the spirit of being grateful, I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you who support the Kansas Infrastructure Hub. Your collaboration and commitment make our shared mission possible. Whether you contribute through expertise, partnership, outreach, or daily hard work, each effort strengthens our ability to serve communities across the state. Thank you for bringing your passion, creativity, and perseverance to the table—together, we are building a stronger, more resilient Kansas.
