Message from the Director
2026 started off fast and furious for the Kansas Infrastructure Hub! We have already delivered several presentations and led a workshop during the month of January. February shows no signs of slowing down. We look forward to a robust, yet shortened month, where our travels continue to take us across the state.
A measurement of success in our work centers upon what gets built, improved, and delivered. In practical terms, that means robust program management, faster project timelines, stronger coordination with local and regional partners, and infrastructure investments that create lasting economic and community impact. Whether we are supporting transportation, broadband, water, energy, or resilience projects, our approach is grounded in accountability and performance. We remain grounded in the notion that our focus centers upon outcomes that matter to Kansans. Every dollar invested carries a responsibility—to taxpayers, to partners, and to future generations—and we take that responsibility seriously.
One of the most important ways in which we are able to achieve success is through partnerships and collaborations. These are defining factors in delivering results. The Hub recognizes that no single agency or level of government can advance complex infrastructure projects alone. Our success depends on strong, active collaboration with state agencies, local governments, tribal nations, regional organizations, and communities across this state. By aligning expertise, sharing information, and coordinating efforts early and often, we reduce duplication, overcome barriers, and accelerate delivery. These partnerships ensure that infrastructure investments are responsive to local needs and leverage available resources, which ultimately translates into tangible outcomes for citizens across Kansas.
We appreciate the partnerships we have already built. We want to expand our assistance in 2026. Contact us with your thoughts, ideas and suggestions on how we can do so. We are stronger, together.
